Walter Jennings is CEO of Asia Insight Circle, a CEO and Board Director thought leadership and networking association. Based in Hong Kong, AIC hosts monthly meetings where executives share insights and strategies across topical, trending business issues.

Walter is an experienced corporate reputation professional with some 25+ years’ experience gained working and living in China, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, France, and the United States.

Walter served as Vice President, Global Corporate Communication at Huawei Technologies at headquarters in Shenzhen, China from 2015-2018. His focus was on building and protecting corporate reputation in all countries outside of China.

Earlier in his career, Walter led the Greater China operations for Kreab Gavin Anderson, a global public affairs and corporate communications consultancy. He advised media relations and issues management in China for The Wall Street Journal and the World Health Organization, among other clients.

A permanent resident based in Hong Kong, he is an American-Australian dual-national who is fluent in French and conversational in Mandarin. He has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University.
